Tuscany-Canterbury occupies roughly 90 acres of land 3.5 miles north of downtown Baltimore. The neighborhood has 28 medium and high-rise condominiums and apartment buildings. The houses are nestled in the inner core of the neighborhood and the high-rise buildings frame the neighborhood on the east and south.
Within the residential neighborhood there are a variety of restaurants and a beautiful walking trail along the Stony Run Stream. Tuscany-Canterbury is within walking distance of many attractions such as the Baltimore Museum of Art, Wyman Park, grocery stores, coffee shops, numerous restaurants, Johns Hopkins University, several other colleges, and Med-Star Union Memorial Hospital. Within a 5 to 15 minute drive you can visit historic Hampden Main Street, spend the day at the Baltimore Zoo, or visit the Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore.
Good Transit: Transit Score: 64 out of 100. The neighborhood has good transit with many nearby transportation options. Car sharing is available from Zipcar. Scooters are also available in the neighborhood. Penn Station is 2 miles south on Charles Street.
Very Walkable: Walk Score 73 out of 100. You can get out and walk when living in this area. Many errands can be accomplished on foot, but for others you’ll need a car. If you enjoy walking, you’ll enjoy living in this area!
