EVENTS ON JHU HOMEWOOD CAMPUS
Below are some of the JHU events that are open to the community, events that might include fireworks, or a special activity that will attract thousands of people to the campus.

October 16 – 18, 2026! Parent’s Weekend

Annual Lighting of the Quads There are usually fireworks with this event.

Ice Skating Rink JHU includes the communities to join in the fun.

JHU Homecoming and All-Alumni Weekend in April

Spring Fair It has always been a celebration of the season. Campus green spaces will be filled with designated areas for inflatables, lawn games, food, arts and fun activities!

Commencement Week full of activities for the various schools on the Homewood Campus. The main commencement usually includes fireworks.

Tuscany-Canterbury neighbors are usually interested in what’s happening on the Homewood Campus. Special JHU alerts as well as the progress on each new building will be posted TCNA Breaking News. Additional information will be included in the TCNA newsletters.
- New Residence Hall (2026-2028) Some sophomore students moved to The Academy, 3704 N Charles Street in Tuscany Canterbury during the construction.
- Johns Hopkins Data Science and AI Institute (2026-2029) Remington Avenue & Wyman Park Drive 70,000-square-foot facility on the Homewood campus connected by a sky bridge and service tunnel.
- Early Learning Center (2024- 2026) The Early Learning Center moved from Wyman Park Drive to their new state of the art building at University Parkway and San Martin.
- Milton S. Eisenhower (MSE) Library Updates (2024-2027) The multiyear renovation will transform MSE into a more modern and accessible. There will be innovative resources for both digital and print-based scholarship.

POSSIBLE FUTURE PROJECTS

- New 12 Story Student Dorm-Style Living Proposed 3200 block N Charles Street The plan was presented to the Baltimore CIty UDAAP Advisory Committee in June 2026.
HOMEWOOD FIELD SCHEDULES (University Parkway)
If there are any IMMEDIATE PROBLEMS at the Homewood Field or on campus, TNCA has been advised that you should call JHU Security immediately 410-516-4600, and they will be in touch with the athletic director (24 hours a day) to resolve the problem.

FALL 2026
- Blue Jay Football In 2025, had a 12-2 overall record (6-1 in the Centennial Conference) and made a historic run to the NCAA Division Semifinals.
- Men’s Soccer
- Women’s Soccer Finished the 2025 season with a 17-5-1 record, won their fourth straight and 18th overall Centennial Conference title.
