Neighborhood Association

TCNA has two general membership meetings a year.   Members and non-members are welcome.   Residential Parking Permits are distributed by the TCNA organization in June. In 2024 due to the new RPP website, they will be distributed in July and August.

TCNA Board & Committees 

Board meetings are held 5 times a year, and time is provided at the end of each meeting for comments and thoughts. Check the TCNA calendar for agenda prior to the Board meetings.  All board meetings are held at the Broadview Apartments, 105 W 39th Street, Lower Level Meeting Room. All neighbors are welcome to attend.

Calvert Covenant Renewal Workgroup

This committee meets with the Calvert School Headmaster to discuss the possible renewal of the TCNA and Calvert School Covenants which will expire in 2026.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee sends out email newsletters 6 times a year in addition to neighborhood updates as needed.  The TCNA website is updated on a regular basis throughout the year.

TCNA sponsors an annual picnic for all neighbors, organizes the First Friday Happy Hours (which hopefully will begin again soon) and organizes socials at the membership meetings (wine, cheese, desserts).

This active committee maintains TCNA’s 4 neighborhood gardens.   The committee also works closely with Friends of Stony Run to maintain and improve the TCNA area of Stony Run Walking Path.

The Committee sends out dues notices and invitations to new residents and non-members to become members.

Public Safety Committee

Alert neighbors about ways to maintain a safe neighborhood, monitor crime issues in the area which decreases any crime patterns.  Tuscany-Canterbury neighborhood remains one of the safest in Baltimore.

Streets Committee

The streets committee works with the City on snow renewal on streets (not alleys or sidewalks).   The committee also works jointly with the Broadview Apartments on the 39th Street traffic-calming plan.   They also are working with the Friends of Stony Run to connect the walking path between the two bridges on Linkwood Road.

The streets committee works with the City on snow renewal on streets (not alleys or sidewalks),  The committee also works jointly with the Broadview Apartments on the 39th Street traffic-calming plan, and is working with adjacent neighborhoods and Johns Hopkins on a masterplan for University Parkway. They also are working with the Friends of Stony Run to connect the walking path between the two bridges on Linkwood Road.  New plans are being created in 2023-2024 to calm traffic on Tuscany Road and provides safer ways to cross Charles Street.

Calvert Project Committee

Our neighborhood reached an agreement with Calvert School in April 2018. (See website for complete agreement).  This committee completed their work in June of 2023.  The new field and Athletic facility are completed.
