February 24: Updates Stony run Lane, Water Pipe Replacement
The crew has encountered some really big rocks today while excavation which is slowing their progress in laying pipe as they work their way toward the 39th Street corner.The crew is having a hard time digging it out. Talking with the DPW field supervisor at noon today, he estimates the crew will finish work on Stony Run by Friday.
The parking restrictions that I listed below in yesterday’s email update are in force tomorrow Wednesday. Repeating them again:
- No vehicles will be able to transit Stony Run Lane from 39th street to Stoneyford Rd from 7AM until around 3 PM maybe up to 4 PM.
- No parking on Stony Run Lane from 39th street to Stoneyford Road.
- Vehicles wishing to exit the Hopkins House garage should do so before 7 AM.
- Vehicles will not be able to exit or re-enter the garage until at least 3PM and maybe 4 PM.
