March 16: Water turn-off updates, Tuscany, Hopkins House Market…

Updates 12:18PM

The crew perforated the water supply pipe to the Tuscany apt building and the water is now shut off as they need to replace the pipe.
March : 17 Tuesday water will be shut off all up and down Linkwood from University to Ridgemede from 8AM to 4PM
Hopkins House and the Dentist’s Office and Hopkins House Market have been informed. This is unexpected for them and in addition to the water shutoff scheduled for Thursday from 7 PM to 3AM at the corner of Linkwood and University.  This schedule may change but that is what work is projected to occur presently.

8:00 AM This morning (March 16) the crew said there will not be any water cutoff today after all at the Tuscany or Lombardy. They are just doing prep work for the tie in today.

March 13:  They don’t know when the water shut off will occur in both buildings yet but will let me know

CC crew will be working in front of the Tuscany and cutting our water to the residents of the Tuscany during the finalization of the tie in at Stony Run Lane and Stoneyford next Monday March 16th.  The crew boss again a few minutes ago to reconfirm the water shut off for the Tuscany on Monday.

But I also wanted to give you a heads up that he also mentioned that if there is time on Monday afternoon he will work at the corner of Stoneyford and Tuscany to finalize that tie in also.
If he is able to undertake this phase it means that water will be cut off up to an hour or so for the residents of the Lombardy.  He’s not sure yet if he will be able to do all of this on Monday but promised to give me an update on Monday morning so we can get the word out on the second possible water cut off affecting the residents of the Lombardy.

Traffic should be able to transit around the work site at the intersection but may be subject to delays from time to time.

The crew will be finalizing tie in work and shutting off water to the Tuscany Apt Complex (only) for up to an hour or more if there are any impediments encountered in the morning.  For residents of the Tuscany, it would be good to fill up sinks and/or bath tubs with water for sanitation purposes.
It is recommend that neighbors run their faucets for a few minutes after the work is completed in case there might be any debris in the line.
