Updates for July 15th: Repaving Linkwood Road
The crew will continue pavement cutting, excavating, and pouring concrete on Linkwood. They will be working from approximately from the residence at 3925 Linkwood, North all the way to the corner of Ridgemede and Linkwood. One thing I learned today is that at times the crew, especially the pavement cutting crew, can advance faster than I what I may be informed the night before. July 14 iwas a good example of that, with two vehicles in the way of the cutting crew: a white Toyota Corolla MD license plate 8GFN289 and a gray blue Honda Accord Sport New Jersey license plate W19 ENR. They will be towed tomorrow if they are still parked in the same location on Linkwood tomorrow.
So just to be clear, no vehicles should be parked in this part of Linkwood tomorrow from 7:30 AM (real hot tomorrow starting earlier) to at least 4:00 PM and perhaps beyond until the cement hardens, specifically along side of Ridgemede Apartments all the way the corner with Ridgemede. Barrels with no parking signs will be placed at this location and again, any vehicle parked there tomorrow risks being towed.
When the cement trucks come to fill the trench, Linkwood will be closed from Stoneyford all the way to Ridgemede in both North and South directions. Also no traffic will be able to exit Tuscan Hills Apts or the alley before Ridgemede Apts on to Linkwood.
