Update August 11: Linkwood Road Closed

Linkwood Road: The crew will be paving the entire length of Linkwood Road from University Parkway to Ridgemede Road.
Please note the following:
(1) If owners choose to park their vehicles on Linkwood between Stoneyford and Ridgemede overnight tonight, they must vacate by 7:30 AM Tuesday morning or risk being towed.

(2) Linkwood will be entirely closed beginning at 7:30 from University Parkway all the way to and including the intersection with Ridgemede. This also means that there is no parking the entire length of Linkwood Road all day on Tuesday from Stoneyford to Ridgemede starting at 7:30 AM.
(3) No one will be able to enter/exit the Hopkins House’s two garages on Linkwood starting at 7:30 AM on Tuesday until the paving has been completed and the asphalt has hardened which will take about two to three hours after the pavement has been laid.
(4) No one will be able to enter/exit the entrance to Tuscan Hills Apartments or the alley to the garages of Ridgemede Apartments all day. If residents need to exit the alley garages on to Linkwood they must do so before 7:30 AM Tuesday morning.
Tuscany Road: The crew will be paving the 200 block of Tuscany Road from the alley on Tuscany Road East to and including the intersection of Stoneyford.
Please note the following:
(1) Likewise as above, owners who choose to park their vehicles on Tuscany Road between the alley just East of Ridgemede Road to Stoneyford Road overnight tonight, they must vacate by 7:30 AM Tuesday morning or risk being towed. There will be no parking on 200 block of Tuscany Road all day.

(2) Tuscany Road will have one lane open with flaggers at all times during the day starting about 7:30 AM.

(3) No one will be able to enter/exit the driveway on Tuscany Road to the garages of the Gardens of Guilford starting at 7:30 AM.
Best to exit the garages prior to 7:30 AM Tuesday morning or park elsewhere overnight tonight.

One final point to be clarified: the paving crew will be making one pass putting down pavement on one lane on Tuscany and followed by going over to Linkwood making one pass putting down pavement on one lane.

Essentially, the crew will be alternating laying new pavement one lane at a time onTuscany followed by one lane at a time on Linkwood going back and forth between both streets until all lanes on both streets have been repaved.
The paving process tomorrow is expected to completed by about 4:00 PM is all goes wells and there are no unforeseen impediments and the weather holds.
