December 23: Updates on Water Pipe Replacement
Today, the crew will be approaching the alley between the Passano residence and the Ridgemede Condos on Linkwood.
December 24, the crew will not be laying pipe, but will be doing water sampling in various parts of the neighborhood, principally up at the corner of Tuscany and Stoneyford. They will be working only a half day on Wednesday.
Neighbors may park all up and down Linkwood from this afternoon after work stops through 7 AM next Monday the 29th. The crew will resume working near Ridgemede Condos next Monday.
Tuesday the 30th will be the day that water will be cut off for the tie in at Stoneyford and the middle of Tuscany Road. The cut off occur during the hours of 9AM to 5PM. The water cut off is expected to last only about 2 to 3 hours sometime between 9AM and 5 PM unless there is an impediment. Most of our water valves in the neighborhood are very old so there could be a problem either opening and/or closing any of them.
Paper notices of the water shut off have been posted today at the mail boxes of residents of the Gardens of Guilford and the Lombardy Coop Apts and at the following residences on Tuscany Road: 200, 213, and 215.
