The growth of roads from the city to the country, and the activities established along these roads affected the ways in which this community developed.
Charles Street, University Parkway, Linkwood Road, and Warrenton Road became the boundaries of Tuscany-Canterbury. Each has history relevant to the neighborhood.
Tuscany-Canterbury is neither a planned community nor the product of governmental regulations. Tuscany-Canterbury grew at a quick pace and became a unique, diverse residential area.
