Invite your family, neighbors, and children who are interested in space. You don’t have to be a member of TCNA to attend the social, presentation, or the business meeting. 7:00-7:45 Special Presentation James Webb Telescope, Josh Peek Head of the Space Telescope Science Institute’s Data Science Mission Office Josh Peek, an astronomer at the Space Telescope Science Institute, has agreed to do a presentation about the Space Telescope Science Institute, our neighbor on San Martin Drive, and the James Webb Space Telescope, whose science and mission operations are run there. He will discuss the JWST’s design, launch, how it works. He will show some exciting images, scientific results from its first year and the most current information. Finally, he will explain a little about how he fits in, and future directions for the STSci and astronomy.
