After concessions and modifications to the building with the Tuscany-Canterbury neighborhood association in 1961, the Mullan Contracting Company built the Cambridge at 3900, It boasts of 234 spacious apartments with fine city views.  The 200-space parking garage is under a garden.  It also has an outdoor pool.

 It was sold and renamed several times.  The last change occurred in 2018 when it was purchased, remodeled, and named The Social. It is now primarily marketed to students attending the neighboring colleges.
