1930: A large home was built (5,458 square feet) as a single family home. The land extended down to the stream behind the home.
1965: Tau Epsilon Phi (TEP) bought the house
1989: TEP made major repairs
1993: TEP house went to auction
1994: The nursing home, Our House Senior Assisted, bought the house. The neighborhood was concerned about the increase in traffic that a nursing home would bring: visitors, ambulances, trash trucks, deliveries, and additional parking needs. TCNA objected and no nursing home was allowed on that property, i.e. they could not convert the TEP house into a nursing home.
1996: The house was sold and renovated back to a beautiful individual home.
