Noise from Johns Hopkins

Who do we call when the volume at the Johns Hopkins stadium is too loud?

In 2018 Councilwomen Mary Pat Clarke just sent TCNA this question and the answer that she gives to residents who call her.  In February 2023, TCNA confirmed with JHU that this process is still in place.

Hopkins has a process in place with the residents across the street at the Colonnade when there are games and they feel the noise levels are elevated.  Hopkins hasn’t changed or adjusted the volume from the agreed upon volume with that community – sometimes the weather and atmospheric changes (humidity, wind) can carry sound.  Any resident can call Campus Safety and Security at 410-516-4600 to explain what is occurring.  Hopkins Security will contact athletics immediately to make any adjustments.   Be sure to leave your contact information.  If this doesn’t work, please let us know. presidentTCNA@gmail.com
