Neighborhood Committees 2022-2023

Please contact any of the committees via our new emails to volunteer or to offer ideas and thoughts click here.

Calvert School Liaison Committee: Amy Mutch, Chair

Committee members:

Ferd Latrobe (Canterbury Rd), Ned Lewison (Gardens of Guilford), Area Margolis (Tuscany/Lombardy).  This committee meets with the Calvert School Headmaster four times yearly to discuss neighborhood issues. Covenants are in place that determine the required membership of this committee.

Communications: Linda Eberhart, Coordinator

E-newsletters, email communications, website content.

Webmaster: Julie Watson (Canterbury Rd)

Events Committee: Ann Christopher, Chair

TCNA sponsors an annual picnic for all neighbors, organizes the First Friday Happy Hours (which hopefully will begin again in the Fall) and organizes socials after the membership meetings (wine, cheese, desserts).

Membership Committee: Pat Hawthorne, Chair

The membership committee hosts socials after the membership meetings, develops ways to welcome new residents in the area.  More recently the membership committee has been liaising with the neighborhood condominium associations to increase membership and interactions.

Public Safety Committee: Paul Gallo, Chair

Alert neighbors about ways to maintain a safe neighborhood, monitor crime issues in the area to decrease any crime patterns.  Tuscany-Canterbury neighborhood remains one of the safest in Baltimore.

Greens Committee: Bonnie Boland, Chair

This active committee maintains our 4 neighborhood gardens, and street trees, and is developing a comprehensive plan for improvements to the TCNA area of Stony Run Park.

Streets Committee: Brian ten Siethoff, Chair

The streets committee works with the City on snow renewal on streets (not alleys or sidewalks),  The committee also works jointly with the Broadview Apartments on the 39th Street traffic-calming plan, and is working with adjacent neighborhoods and Johns Hopkins on a masterplan for University Parkway.
