DESCRIPTION:The Johns Hopkins Medicine Office of Diversity\, Inclusion and Health Equity will host the Black Men in White Coats Youth Summit. This event will be held from 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in Turner Auditorium on the East Baltimore Campus. \nThe Black Men in White Coats (BMWC) initiative was founded in 2013 by Dale Okorodudu in response to an Association of American Medical Colleges report highlighting the decreasing number of black male applicants to medical school. The summit’s goal is to inspire all youth to consider careers in health care while laying the foundation for success via mentorship and networking. \nRegister here. Questions?
