Replacement of 1000 ft of water pipe on Stoneyford Road between Tuscany and Linkwood Road plus the section between University Parkway and Stoneyford. \nWork will start with the excavation of three sample test sites: one at the corner of Linkwood and Stoneyford; the next one at the junction of Stoneyford and Stony Run Lane; and the third one at the corner of Tuscany and Stoneyford. (This information comes from Mr. Israel Osorio\, Superintendent\, Civic Construction\, contractor company\, October 16) \nWill parking be prohibited? During the time that work is being done\, parking will not be allowed. Signs will be posted 72 hours prior to work. CARS MUST BE MOVED BY 8AM or they will be towed by the Baltimore City Towing Division and subject to a fine. Cars will be allowed to park after the work ends each night. \nHow long will it take to complete the project? Approximately two weeks barring any unforeseen impediments. \nWill water be cut off?  After the new pipes are in place\, the water will be temporarily disconnected between 8AM and 5PM. Photo via GoFundMe.\n\n\nFor the third time since 2020\, The Friends of Wyman Park organization is bringing in goats to munch away at overgrown vegetation on ‘BMA Slope\,’ the steep hillside that frames one end of the park. \nThe goats will be coming from Prosperity Acres\, a farm in Sunderland\, Maryland\, to graze on the slope as part of the non-profit group’s long-term plan for managing invasive plants in the Dell. \n“Our goat guests…will arrive in the park some time on Friday\, October 25 and will get to grazing on Saturday\, October 26\,” the group said in a message on social media. “They will stick around for as long as there is foliage to eat.” \nThe organization has launched a Go(at) Fund Me drive to help pay for the effort at: tinyurl.com/GoatsontheSlope. The goal is $4\,000. \n“Our 2020 and 2022 Goats on the Slope projects were incredibly successful thanks to the generous support of our neighbors\,” the group said in its message. “We need your help to fund the project again.
